Nominations Released – 2012 Norman Robinson Stakes

Nominations have been released for the Group 3 Norman Robinson Stakes, which is due to run at Caulfield Racecourse this Saturday October 20, 2012.

A total of 13 horses have been nominated for the 2012 Norman Robinson Stakes, including Kabayan.

Kabayan has won two of his six race starts and has earned more than $320,000 in prize money.

The Haradasun gelding finished fifth in the Group 1 Golden Rose earlier this spring, despite trainer Gai Waterhouse declaring him the winner prior to the race.

Kabayan then went on to recover his form to win the Group 2 Stan Fox Stakes at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse last start.

The three-year-old will be looking to continue his top form in the 2012 Norman Robinson Stakes this weekend.

Also included in the 2012 Norman Robinson Stakes nominations is Jimando.

Jimando has won three of this eight race starts and has earned more than $240,000 in prize money during his horse racing career.

The Commands colt has not finished outside the placings during his four race starts this campaign, with his most recent result being a third in the Listed UCI Stakes at Flemington on October 6.
